Protein extraction kits provide a simple, rapid, and reproducible method for preparing total cellular protein extracts from a wide variety of biological samples. Typically, an ‘inhibitor stop’ will be included in the 1x Developer dilution (e.g. Trichostatin A) for class I and II HDACs, nicotinamide for sirtuins).
