Beskrivning: The Mag-Bind® PX blood RNA kit allows for the isolation of total RNA from 2,5 ml of whole blood that has been stored in PAXgene® Blood RNA tubes. Stabilised blood samples are first spun down and the nucleic acid pellets are washed and recollected. After washing, the nucleic acid pellet is dissolved into a specially formulated resuspension buffer. At this point the samples can be transferred to 96-well plates for processing in robotic liquid handlers and magnetic processors. High quality intact RNA can be isolated in less than 90 minutes.

The system is also efficient enough to purify total RNA from as little as 10 mg of tissue or 100 cells. Purified RNA can be used for many downstream applications such as RT-PCR, northern blotting, Poly(A)+ mRNA purification, and differential display.
