Buffers, TE solutions 10X concentrates (TRIS-EDTA buffer)
Leverantör: Rockland Immunochemicals
TE buffer is a commonly used buffer solution in molecular biology, especially in procedures involving DNA, cDNA or RNA. "TE" is derived from its components: Tris, a common pH buffer, and EDTA, a molecule that chelates cations like Mg2+. The purpose of TE buffer is to solubilize DNA or RNA, while protecting it from degradation.
TE buffers are a concentrated stock solution and should be diluted appropriately with distilled, deionized water or equivalent to its final working concentration. This buffer consists of 100 mM Tris HCl and 10 mM EDTA. Meticulously prepared using ultra pure reagents dissolved in DEPC treated molecular biology grade water.
