Improve productivity and cell yield in fed-batch cultures by supplementing the cell culture medium to replace nutrients depleted during cell culture. HyClone Cell Boost 6 Supplement provides lipids, amino acids, vitamins and growth factors to support fed-batch cultures in research and bioprocessing applications. It is available as a convenient ready-to-use liquid feed solution or as a dry powder feed to be rehydrated before use.


This HyClone cell culture supplement has been developed for recombinant protein production with various cell lines including Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cell line, human embryonic kidney (HEK) 293, NS0, hybridoma, and T cells.


Recommended supplementation range is between 20 to 200 ml/L during mid to late growth phase. It is anticipated that this will be day 3 to 4 of the culture. It is suggested that L-glutamine is monitored separately in those cultures where it is present in the culture medium and supplemented as needed.
